I'm sure the Tiggers will win tonight, so I fully expect the Sox to sweep the Tribe too.

It's been a fun season that fell a bit short. Team just ran out of gas.

I'm sure SHARK will provide us with the pitching matchups later, complete with number, WHIP, place of birth, mother's maiden name, and favorite position (if you'll pardon the expression).

In case you still care, these are the pitching matchups for the White Sox/Indians' series. The Sox should feel right at home with lots of good seats available at (Not So) Progressive Field in Cleveland. Sorry, I can't help myself.

TONIGHT: 6:05P, WCIU 26 (WGN Sports on The U) & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network
CHW: 53 Hector Santiago (LHP; 3-1, 3.69 ERA) vs. CLE: 28 Corey Kluber (RHP; 2-4, 5.02 ERA)

TUESDAY: 6:05P, Comcast SportsNet & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network
CHW: 44 Jake Peavy (RHP; 11-12, 3.37 ERA) vs. CLE: 63 Justin Masterson (RHP; 11-15, 5.03 ERA)

WEDNESDAY: 6:05P, CSNC & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network
CHW: 34 Gavin Floyd (RHP; 11-11, 4.47 ERA) vs. CLE: 31 Dave Huff (LHP; 3-0, 2.86 ERA)

In order to boost attendance, the Indians should have a "Kerry Wood Day" in honor of the greatest seventy-five (75) innings ever pitched for the Tribe.

Maybe Joe Charboneau can open a beer bottle with his eye socket for a randomly selected fan. How about a dunk tank with Bob Feller? The first fan who dunks Bob Feller, therefore killing him, wins season tickets, or a spot on next year's Opening Day roster.

There cannot be anything worse than being a fan of the Cleveland Indians. They are the barely breathing Rust Belt of Major League Baseball.

When that ballpark opened as Jacobs Field nearly 20 years ago, that place was one of the toughest tickets to get in Bud Selig's Major League Baseball. Today, even with Ohio-based Progressive Insurance buying the naming rights, not so much...

I sincerely hope that they have notified Bob Feller's family of this unfortunate fact.

Ironically enough, he died in a tragic dunk tank accident.

It is the oldest story in the book. Hayseed kid grows up throwing laser beam fastballs right through corn bushels in Iowa. Kid makes the majors. Kid ends up dying in tragic dunk tank accident.

Santiago is really throwing the ball good tonight. I hope they give him a legitimate shot at winning a rotation spot next season.

Viciedo absolutely crushed that ball. The offense hangs an 11-spot on Cleveland tonight. Too late, Boys. It's just too damn late.

Good lord Viciedo hit the ever lovin shit out of that ball. 24 HR 77 RBI in his first full major league season. He has things to work on but those are impressive power numbers to build on.
