As I have no idea what Mr Hahn is referring to when talking about Gordon Beckham's swing, feel free to enlighten me as to what "Specific Intangible Adjustments" are. I have emailed a good source, We will see if my reply matches up with those of the Sox faithful. |

Well, if you are going to ground out or strike out anyway, you might as well take some more pitches from the pitcher to tire him out. That is a great bullshit phrase though. |

Oh well, it wouldn't be a real day without BIGFAN obsessing about a team he says he doesn't care about. |

"Close" to Franks level of "Soxness?" Oh brother, BIGFAN is at it again. Why the hell did you use quote for "THE PHRASE" is it a big deal to you? Are you worried about? Do you keep hitting refresh on the browser to see if any posters have posted about it? Why do you care so much what your guy says? Aren't you a Cubs fan? "THE PHRASE" (Derp Derp!) is a throw-away, means nothing....but apparently it means all the world to BIGFAN because he can't get it out of his head, his mind is bursting with intense discomfort from it, you need to know what your guy thinks, you're going to dream about it tonight and then wake up in a cold sweat at 2am, run to your PC and angrily hit the refresh button to see if Frank and his SOXNESS posted about it.... But whatever, I digress....besides, shouldn't you be picking through Uncle Jerry's garbage cans? I mean, it's past 8pm. Get on it! |

Frank Coztansa wrote: You know baseball season is almost upon us when bigfan starts asinine threads like this in the Sox forum. Yeah, when I repeat stuff said by the GM, that's quite asinine. Asinine is the former GM requesting to be in the crowd when the "ASK THE GM" segment at Sox fest takes place, so he can ask the first question to the new GM and certain owners say 'What an asshole that guy is". |

I'm curious as to what it means. My guess is pitch selection or just overall plate discipline. |

bigfan wrote: Yeah, when I repeat stuff said by the GM, that's quite asinine. ALl that means is that Bacon is working on his swing. How fucking shocking!bigfan wrote: Asinine is the former GM requesting to be in the crowd when the "ASK THE GM" segment at Sox fest takes place, so he can ask the first question to the new GM and certain owners say 'What an asshole that guy is". This has jack and shit to do with Beckham working on his swing, intangibles, or his adjustments.Good work here, bigfan. As usual. |

Is it possible to work on intangables? I really don't think you can. Since they're, well, intangable. |

the specific intangible adjustment is that he is getting married so he cannot chase strange during homestands and he can no longer blame AJ as the reason he cannot take his fiancee on the road with him |
