The White Sox and their anemic offense return home to U.S. Cellular Field, but not tonight. Their long homestand was supposed to start vs. the Minnesota Twins tonight, but the cold & wind that should make the Twins feel right at home will prevent the two teams from playing ball at the corner of 35th Street & Bill Veeck Drive.

What was supposed to be a 3 game series with Minnesota now becomes a 2 game series, and an "MLB on FOX" game to boot tomorrow afternoon with Howard David (!) & Bert Blyleven providing the descriptions for an unusual 2:05P start time.

Thanks to tonight's postponement, it's unclear if the original pitching matchups for this series will remain intact. It was supposed to be Vance Worley vs. Jake Peavy this eve, with Scott Diamond & Gavin Floyd tomorrow & Sunday's matchup with Kevin Correia & Dylan Axelrod respectively for the Twins & Sox.

Not sure if the Twins will alter their starting rotation for the weekend games of this series. This much is for sure. The White Sox have pushed BOTH Jake Peavy & Gavin Floyd back for the 2 games with Minnesota. Peavy starts the "MLB on FOX" game tomorrow afternoon at 2:05P while Floyd now starts in the 1983 throwbacks Sunday.

As for LF Dayan Viciedo, his left oblique injury is still day to day, but very unlikely to play this weekend. LF Jordan Danks, just called up from Triple "A" Charlotte, likely plays in Viciedo's place. I wouldn't rule out a possible DL stint if Viciedo's oblique doesn't heal by Monday vs. the Indians.

"LF" is left field. Its the outfield position that is furthest to your left if you were to stand at home plate and look out onto the field.

The fuck is going on with all these walks and errors. This team can't afford this sloppy bullshit when they can't score more than 1 or 2 runs a god damn game.

Aaron Hicks is hitting .048 and is 0 for his last 21. These assholes walked him twice yesterday.

I like De Aza SO much more as a left fielder.

I said the same thing about walking that asshole yesterday while sitting in the bleachers.

This has been a very bad stretch of baseball. Its not like they are playing the Nationals again and just getting beat. The Sox are giving the other teams extra outs and free runs, and just playing very poorly.
