Usually, a White Sox trip to New York means a trip to the Bronx to face the Yankees. That won't come until later this season. Tonight & tomorrow, the Sox and their rotten offense make their first ever visit to Citi Field, site of this year's MLB All-Star Game to face 3B David Wright and the Mets.

For the Sox, RV has to make an adjustment or two with his lineup. Does he bench Adam Dunn or put him in LF? Does Alejandro De Aza shift back to CF? Will Paul Konerko find himself on the bench for one of the two games instead of playing first base? Keep in mind the White Sox won't have the DH in these next 2 games playing in the NL ballpark.

These are the mound matchups for this Interleague Series:

TONIGHT: 6:05P, Comcast SportsNet Chicago Plus & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network
CHW: 53 Hector Santiago (LHP; 1-1, 2.29 ERA) vs. NYM: 33 Matt Harvey (RHP; 4-0, 1.56 ERA)

WEDNESDAY: 6:05P, WCIU 26 (WGN Sports on The U) & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network
CHW: 44 Jake Peavy (RHP; 3-1, 3.38 ERA) vs. NYM: 53 Jeremy Hefner (RHP; 0-3, 4.34 ERA)

That's all I ask for Young Man.

Any word on Beckham's rehab? The Sox need him back in a bad way.

Nothing yet on Beckham. LF Dayan Viciedo & starting pitcher John Danks are on rehab assignments at Triple "A" Charlotte.

They need those two back also but they really need Beckham. I'm getting sick of seeing Keppinger at 2B. I think a platoon of Keppinger and Gillaspie at 3B will be a lot better.

Keyser, they got Keppinger to play 3B, but in reality, I know Keppinger was a 2B in Houston & San Francisco. He only played 3B when Evan Longoria was injured down in Tampa Bay.

Well Keppinger's not very good at 2B and he's not an everyday player. I'm not sure if Gillaspie is either. I think those two will be better if Robin can play matchups with them. Either way Beckham has to get back on the field.

The White Sox lineup is in and a certain Captain is conspicously absent from this lineup.

The Sox lineup vs. the Mets' Matt Harvey:

30 Alejandro "More Comfortable in Left" De Aza LF (L)
7 Jeff "My BA is Higher than OBP" Keppinger 2B (R)
51 Alex "The Lone White Sox All-Star?" Rios RF (R)
32 Adam "Sit Down Paulie!" Dunn 1B (L)
12 Conor "I Spell My Name w/one 'N'" Gillaspie 3B (L)
10 Alexei "When Will I Get A Rest, RV?" Ramirez SS (R)
21 Tyler "Why Can't I Hit?" Flowers C (R)
28 Dewayne "(Jordan) Danks for Nothing!" Wise CF (L)
53 Hector "I'm Batting in the NL Park?! What a Concept!" Santiago (L)

I couldn't pass that one up. Jordan Danks was actually the hero of yesterday's 2-1 White Sox 11 inning winner in KC. His reward? Another spot on the bench.

That was quick. Matt Harvey is a bitch. The Mets are going to have a hell of a 1-2 punch when they call up Zach Wheeler later this summer.

How has Buck not failed a piss test yet this year? His stats are pretty much better at this point than they are at the end of most seasons.

That was a hell of a start by Santiago. Now how about someone running into one here and giving him a chance to get the W.

Their offense was asleep long before reaching NY.

Harvey was dealing. Santiago was almost as good. I enjoyed watching the first 6 innings of that game.

Another quality start from a White Sox starter went to waste last night. 4 Hits, 0 Runs, 2 BB & 8 K's in 7 shutout innings for Hector Santiago last night vs. the Mets. That should be good enough for a win, but all Santiago got was a no-decision.

It'll be a little while before RV's lineup is revealed vs. the Mets' Jeremy Hafner. The White Sox have an Ironman of their own right now. SS Alexei Ramirez went 0 for 3 with 1 of Matt Harvey's 12 strikeouts last night. Ramirez has played every inning this season for the slumping Sox and is overdue for a rest at some point.

He had a rest Friday, and he'll have a rest tomorrow. This team currently has nobody else that can play shortstop, SHARK.
