Los Angeles Angels vs. Chicago White Sox
Friday, May 10, 7:10 PM CDT, U.S. Cellular Field
Tommy Hanson, RHP 2-1, 3.86 ERA
Dylan Axelrod, RHP 0-2, 3.60 ERA

Saturday, May 11, 6:10 PM CDT, U.S. Cellular Field
Jerome Williams, RHP 1-1, 3.16 ERA
Jose Quintana, LHP 2-0, 3.86 ERA

Sunday, May 12, 7:05 PM CDT, U.S. Cellular Field
C.J. Wilson, LHP 3-1, 3.86 ERA
Chris Sale, LHP 3-2, 3.42 ERA

The Angels really suck. Sox should take 2 of 3. Will probably lose on Friday because I'll be there.

I already feel sorry for ESPN's quadruplet of Dan Shulman, Orel Hershiser, onetime former White Sox-er John Kruk & on-field reporter Buster Olney. Those 4 have the Sunday night game with lefties C.J. Wilson, Chris Sale & the 1983 throwbacks.

This entire thread should be dedicated to not the games but to CJ Wilson's newly announced fiance.

No one should ever feel sorry for anyone from ESPN.

ESPN sucks.

SJ, it's not often that the White Sox get the "Sunday Night Baseball" treatment. Needless to say, this Angels/White Sox game wasn't what the big boys in Bristol, CT had in mind when the schedule came out.

Welcome back LF Dayan Viciedo. He's been activated from the DL and will be available for tonight's game vs. Anaheim. OF Jordan Danks has been optioned back to Triple "A" Charlotte.

I specifically said the Red Sox, Hatchetman.

It's good to have his bat back in the lineup but this means De Aza moves back to CF which is bad.

I don't know if Viciedo's much better in LF, Keyser. Then again, I've seen enough of Dewayne Wise in CF, too. It turns out De Aza somehow felt more comfortable in LF when Wise plays CF.

De Aza is more comfortable in LF because he's bad in CF. Maybe Robin can DH Viciedo and bench the Swamp Donkey.

why not jordanks in CF every day all year just to see what it is.

Keyser, they're stuck with Adam Dunn. You can't get a 24 pack of Pepsi Max or Miller Lite for Dunn.

I bet a team would make that trade. Not Coke Zero...but Pepsi Max, sure why not?

I just got Kenny Williams's number from bigfan and offered 2 cases of Miller Lite for Adam Dunn. KW asked if they were bottles or cans, I said cans. he said no deal.

Frank, it's an old Coppock line. In plain English, unless the White Sox want to eat a big chunk of Adam Dunn's contract, he's not going anywhere anytime soon. He'll be the everyday first baseman if Paul Konerko gets dealt by the MLB Trade Deadline in July. They're stuck with Dunn in a deal that's not looking so smart with every passing day.

SHARK, he is not the everyday first baseman. Konerko and Dunn have platooned more than anything.

Frank, when Paulie's gone, possibly at the MLB Trade Deadline, Dunn's your everyday 1B on this team. I didn't say right now...
