Let him build up "proven closer" status during his team-control years, when he gets to arb or arb-2 year, sell him off at the deadline for elite prospects. RP don't really net a lot... he's more valuable to the Sox than what he would return right now.

Hahn should definitely be investigating what can be had for both Sale and Reed.

It's starting to look like it, Pitt. I get the impression new White Sox GM Rick Hahn has already decided to wave the white flag on this 2013 season. Whether deals are in the works isn't clear and the Sox decide to eat a lot of bad salary on this roster remains to be seen.
