Must have heard the Hahn interview 3 more times today on the Score. Have heard Ventura, Ranger, Farmer, Hawk...even Buddy Bell falling on the organizational sword. Nothing from the great Kenny Williams? Nothing from the guy who was going to prove that he assembled a World Series team, because many doubted him and he knew it. Nobody asked him to prove it, he offered! The result, 1 playoff win. Now he is the President of the Organization and en route to the worst season in 30+ years, he is 100% absent from the team he built! These are all his guys, his contracts, his acquisitions. The guy talked a huge game and when he was given the steering wheel all by himself, he didnt deliver and he is now NOWHERE to be found!!! |

Kenny's probably all kinds of pissed that Hahn was such a pussy assembling this team. Kenny would have been far more aggressive assembling this team in the off season. Hahn didn't resign AJ Hahn didn't trade Floyd and flushed $9.75M down the drain Hahn didn't get a real everyday centerfielder Hahn signed Keppinger to play.....where?? Kenny's just sitting back watching Harvard boy make his mistakes. |

Kenny is the President, he can resign, not resign as he thinks is best. Or is he really the President? |

I'm guessing that you can find him near a hospital in NYC. |

So you are saying Kenny is sitting back and almost wanting to see Hahn fail, so he can tell everyone how hard the job is and what a good job he did? Which would go along with his personality and proof of that was said at Sox convention, first question for Hahn was from Kenny, being a dick, tried to ask Hahn how he intends to win the world series that year and reshape the team? While I dont doubt part of that was funny in its delivery, it is obvious that type of question bothered Kenny and he wanted to make sure Hahn gets the same pressure he did. And his wife had a double mastectomy in May, not that she still doesnt have issues, but he did buy a new house here in October knowing she had to work in NYC and married her early 2013, so this her being in NYC is not an unknown factor in his absence. |

He's polishing his World Series ring, that's probably what he's doing. Or maybe, you know, taking time with his sick wife? You ever thought of that BIGFAN? Maybe that has something to do with it, you know, just a guess. But wait, you know everything about White Sox baseball, right? So how did you miss this? And of course he is sitting back out of the limelight to let Hahn do his thing. These are all very simple answers that don't really require much thinking or back and forth discussion to come up with. Prune this thread. |

I didn't know about his wife's medical issues, so that's unfortunate, but yea, Kenny is seemingly in witness protection in what has become an unmitigated disaster of a season and a team in a total free fall. |

There are these new fangled things called the internet and telephone. I'm pretty sure he can find a way to do his job even from NYC. Kenny needs to get off of his ass and fix this mess quick. He can swoop in and rescue Hahn and do whatever needs to be done from his imaginary new title. Next season can't go the way this season has. |

If you are so concerned with Kenny and the White Sox why didn't you know the obvious? Also take into account the Hahn is getting interviewed a lot because it's around the trade deadline, moves were made and he is GENERAL MANAGER. You can certainly consider the lack of wit and I will consider your lack of knowing shit. |

Post subject: | Re: WHERE'S KENNY??? |
The sarcastic "Where's Kenny?" is because if he "REALLY" was promoted to President or Executive Vice President, he would be active in the teams choices moving forward, but he isn't active, that's because he wasn't really promoted. He was moved out the door, or in the old country we say "FIRED". Except, Jerry would never fire a guy he personally hires, he just shuffles the deck with a new title and a lower paying job. So, I am mocking Kenny's current position as President, while bringing further attention to the mess that is the Sox, that he created. And I am pretty sure I have seen a Sox GM do his job while his wife was actually dieing from cancer and she actually did pass away. So, to say Kenny is precluded from doing his job, whatever it might be now, due to his wifes recovery now might be the case, but it is done by his choice and the fact he has a ton of free time. I was aware of Kennys wife, it has been all over the news as he married her less than a year ago and she is a CNN reporter, so it was well covered. But keep working the obsession angle, you are in very good company with another guy on that train of thought. |

Kenny isn't missing. He is currently scouting NFL training camps looking for some new talent. Riley Cooper was a decent ballplayer at Florida though I'm not sure he fits what Kenny is usually looking for. |

So you are taking the time to log on, post a question you know already know the answer to...and you do it to draw the ire of White Sox fans on this very board? Textbook obsession and trolling. |

bigfan wrote: Hahn on this morning referencing Kenny knowing the direction of the organization? Is that a question? Do you need someone to answer it for you? Isn't Kenny Executive VP of Baseball Operations for the Chicago White Sox? So it would stand to reason that he may, in fact, know something about what's going on with the team. |

Hahn claims that this is the 3rd year of an emphasis on the Sox farm system? Yes, I can all the players they developed. Not the castoffs from other teams, but true developments. I sense some anger in the South side fans |

I'm not sure what Kenny is supposed to do about all of the errors and bad baserunning. But He should do something. I'm not sure what exactly, but something..... |

Every single interview Hahn has given in the last 2 weeks (Which seems like about 23 of them) he mentions getting or not getting marching orders from Kenny and Jerry. Hahn makes sure, he mentions Kenny a few times. I dont think think there is any love loss there. Many people in that organization didnt like Kenny, so not so sure why Hahn would be so different. Especially if Kenny is holding Hahn back like kenny was held back, because Kenny had no ML level experience. Hahn did. Hahn had much more than Kenny did when he took over. But too late for Hahn. His sould has been bought and paid for. |

bigfan, as the board Sox expert, why did Hahn stick around and take the Sox job? All you'd hear is he was a hot candidate by national guys for whatever other gigs were open. If Jerry and Kenny left him with a shitty situation why'd he wait for his turn? Just curious. |
