I think it is BS not starting Paulie. He is trying to be noble with his quotes but if he really thought that way he should have never accepted the contract to play this year. There is nothing Dunn has done over the past three years that DEMAND he be in the lineup. Sure he gives you a better chance of winning day to day but Paulie should be in there on the first and last days of the season. |

The plan is/was to platoon Dunn/Konerko. This is just doing the plan. I dunno what plan has Gillaspie batting third, but that is a bad plan. |

Gillaspie's rookie year was eerily similar to Ventura's. Only problem was Ventura was three years younger. |
