3/31 - 3:10pm - Ricky Nolasco vs Chris Sale
4/2 - 1:10pm - Kevin Correia vs Felipe Paulino
4/3 - 1:10pm - Phil Hughes vs Jose Quintana

Twins suck. White Sox sweep to start the season out strong.

Today should be the first victory of the season. Only 96 more to go after today 8)

I couldn't find the lineups. We need the SHARKAROO back.

Its 9am. They might not be done yet.

We don't need SHARK giving us play by play in these daygame threads. Everybody is watching, listening, or at least knows whats going on via gamecast.

I think it is BS not starting Paulie. He is trying to be noble with his quotes but if he really thought that way he should have never accepted the contract to play this year.

There is nothing Dunn has done over the past three years that DEMAND he be in the lineup. Sure he gives you a better chance of winning day to day but Paulie should be in there on the first and last days of the season.

The plan is/was to platoon Dunn/Konerko. This is just doing the plan. I dunno what plan has Gillaspie batting third, but that is a bad plan.

Dunn does have 8 Opening Day HRs, but yeah Paulie should be in there.

Supposedly, Robin asked Paul about it over the weekend, and Paul said he would be on the bench.

I'd like to see a good PH opportunity with ducks on the pond.

Can someone think of a reason Gillaspie is hitting third?

The obvious answer is that he's lefthanded. Ventura manages by the book. But that book is from 1960.

He was 2 for 3 against Nolasco last year. 2 singles.

Maybe he hit him real hard and Robin remembers

Someone has to?

Personally, I'd like to see Garcia or Abreu there eventually, I think they are both going to hit.

Gillaspie's rookie year was eerily similar to Ventura's. Only problem was Ventura was three years younger.

Ventura started the season 0-41 and had 25 errors in his rookie campaign. That's not really similar to what Conor did.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that 5 HRs, 54 RBIs, and 25 errors was "eerily similar" to 13 HRs, 40 RBIs, and 16 errors. I wouldn't call that similar at all.

A .249 .647 83 .939
B .245 .695 86 .943

which is which Frank. You ought to know since they are so dissimilar.

Nice way for Eaton to start what will hopefully be a long White Sox career. Now steal a base.
