Can we expect him up for the stretch run this fall?

I love this pick for the Sox. Anytime you can get the guy who was the preseason #1 pick in the draft, you have to be happy.

Hopefully Boras is not too much of a problem.

Rodon and Sale are going to be a devastating 1-2 punch.

85% he doesn't sign.

No room for him with cooper pulling his magic with noesi, ranks back to his blackout game form and homegrown great rienzo developing into a stud. He might be able to make it in a few years when we trade other great pitchers for prospects

Dude is going to need some time off as NC State comes from the Dusty Baker school of pitcher management.

I would look for him to be shut down for the rest of summer... then maybe a stint in the AFL. I look for him start the season in High A and then move up quickly to AA and maybe even AAA. I think he has a good shot to be called up in mid-season 2015 and throw some long relief and maybe spot start 75 -100 innings max. Then it's full go in 2016.

He is a perfect fit for Hahn's rebuild on the fly. If Koleck or Aiken had fallen they would not have been as good a fit as Rodon who will be MLB ready a lot sooner.

Great job A+ pick

Scott Boras will make it easier. At least the GM can call the agent now.

Well they must think they can sign Rodon at a reasonable price to draft a talent like Spencer Adams in the 2nd round.

Unlike all those other teams who drafted untalented guys in the second round!

Seriously Bigfan with all your "sources" you couldn't figure that one out. Well that's just shocking.

I'm absolutely loving this Rondon pick from what I'm reading. Someone bring me back to earth here. Walt, Hatchetman, IMU?

He has a Win Loss record of 6-7 this year. Joe Orrimetrics says this is a bad pick.

How long do we have to wait for the Cubs fans to say "How long until he gets injured?".

bigfan, are you admitting that Don Cooper is sooooo good that he is not only able to help pitchers out, but now he's going to help 3rd basemen become All Stars as well? This guy is is turning into the best coach in Chicago Sports history!!!

I've never flagged on my affection for Conor Gillaspie. Davidson is the future DH.

Hahn making a few reach picks here in round 3-10. I'm guessing to make sure he has the money to sign Rodon.

Sox just drafted a guy that isn't in BA's top 500 prospects in round 8. Guess they will sign him for $5K.
