Unfortunately, it looks like the Sox should be sellers over the next month. It looks like there may be a market for a veteran 2B emerging with both Toronto and the Reds in a race and now in need due to injury. I would not wait on Beckham. It's not exactly selling high at this point but you are selling high when you get multiple bidders. He is what he has proven himself to be over YEARS of play. I would love to see Hahn move him over the all star break. |

sox really have nothing of interest to deal. maybe you can get a B grade prospect from a desperate team for Danks or Ramirez. the rest is salary dump city |

I'd love to see it too but I don't consider it a "sellers" move. Beckham sucks. Trading Alexei and/or Dunn would a sellers move. I'd love to see Hahn get something for Dunn. |

Is there a way we can trade Rongey and DJ to another major league club for an announcer to be named later? |

From MLB TRADE RUMORS . COM Many of the would-be best trade chips on the White Sox aren’t producing, which could make it tough for the Pale Hose to make deadline deals. Gordon Beckham and Alejandro De Aza, for instance, look more like non-tender candidates than valuable acquisitions in the view of one rival executive. John Danks might be the most attractive trade candidate on the Chicago roster, while the Sox might wait until the winter to explore dealing Alexei Ramirez when the trade market is more open. |

De Aza has been on fire for weeks, lifting his BA from the .170 to the .240. The guy has experience in all three OF positions. He can steal a base, bunts well and has some power. All of this is what he looks like on paper. He is a mess on the field but on paper he is a guy who could help a playoff team as a 4th or platoon OF or 25th man. |

they really have nothing to deal. no sense of making a trade for the hell of it. Danks and Ramirez could gough but they make too much dough. |

Spoke to a couple Pirates fan. They are so fucked at 1st all year they said they would love Dunn and his ending contract. They have collective 1st base performance worse than Dunn. |

The only guy I would trade just to make a deal would be Dunn. He isn't coming back next year, and it would give Paulie regular at bats for the last ~60 games of his career. Get a single A prospect or a bit of salary relief and make the deal. |

I bet they could move Alexi, he's not overpaid ...but I would keep Ramirez . Beckham won't be here next year...move that turd for whatever u can get. Viciedo n De Aza could be moved too....package Danks with one of them. |

you can "move" some guys, but who cares? It's not like we'd be getting anything worthwhile in return. |

They'd probably be paying for Dunn to play somewhere else, and I don't see the White Sox getting overwhelmed on a return for Ramirez. I'd move Danks to shed his salary, but I don't think even the Yankees would take that back. Sort of a boring trade deadline for the White Sox. They could trade a player or two, but there' just not much here to move that will return much exciting. |
