-I think the Sox come out strong from the ASB and reach .500 by August 1

-Adam Eaton was the guy who needed the time off the most. I don't think he ever had time to fully heal from his hamstring injury. I expect him to return to his form in the first quarter of the season where he was a .300 hitter and more aggressive on the bases.

-Dunn and Beckham get traded for little. Ramirez and Danks do not. Paulie gets to ride out into the sunset as the DH for the last two months.

-Sox make an aggressive move for next year by taking on a bigger contract for a RHP that would have been otherwise unmovable

-Abreu hits 20-25HR...in the last two months

Carlos Rodon dominates in the minors and pitches with the major league club before the end of the season.

Cubs fans continue to ridicule the Sox for their lack of top-ranked minor league prospects.

I expect Abreu to set the franchise and MLB rookie record for HRs in a season. Agree that Eaton will have a good second half.

i hope they trade everyone they can... would be nice to see garcia playing again for 5-6 weeks to end the season. would also be nice to see the dumpster fire that is the bullpen improve... but who am I kidding I won't be watching much baseball anyways

I would love to see the Sox get to .500 by Aug 1st but it will be a struggle.... they would ned to go 10-3

3 with Houston should be at least 2 of 3 maybe a sweep
3 with KC would also need 2 of 3
4 at Minnesota could be a split
and then 3 at Detroit and I think that they go 1 and 2

That makes them 7-6 or 8-5

I think they go 31-35 the rest of the way

I agree that Beckham and Dunn will go but I think Alexi also gets moved and Danks is a LHP and some contender will always sniff that....

I don's think they make any moves until right at the deadline or even during the waiver period.

Abreu gets 20 easy and will win ROY... Trout gets the MVP and Sale finishes 2nd to King Felix for the Cy.

Robin resigns after the season ends at 76-86

Dump Deaza,Dunn n Beckham n viciedo.
Go to a six man rotation ...no reason to tax un needed innings on Sale or Quintana. Bring up some Prospects n see wat they got.

I expect Abreu not to break the rookie record for home runs, but I would love to see him do it.

This makes the 2015 team heavily competitive unless Bryant and Baez truly bomb, and allows the Cubs to still have dollars left over after 2015 to go after one big ticket pitcher (Price? Latos? Zimmermann? Medlen?), and upgrade a corner outfield spot if the development of Schwarber or Soler doesn't look promising.
