Hawk is pretty funny here. He's absolutely right. And I got nostalgic seeing guys like Ruben Sierra and Bobby Thigpen.

Well if the UMP calls it a ground rule double, the play is essentially over. Should probalby just hustle anyway, but sometimes you gotta sell the fan interference

They were replaying a game from 1993 last nite on Comcast. McDowell pitching, Guillen and Ventura on the left side of the infield, Karko catching, and Big Frank went 4-4 with 2 HRs and 5 RBI. Hawk said the best stuff he ever saw was from "sudden" Sam McDowell. Also, "nobody went harder from 1st to 3rd than Jim Fergosi did in his younger days."
