every AB he gets the rest of the season is just a waste of time. Even if they do nothing more than put Paulie in that spot, at least we get to see Paulie. |

I agree. Might as well pay him to go away at this point. Even if he hits .160 with 1 HR and 3 RBI from now until season's end, Paulie deserves the cheers and at bats he gets for what he has done for the team over the past 15 years. |

This fuck Ventura will call it a professional courtesy as he continues to start him through the rest of the year. The Sox owe that guy no courtesies. He got his money and gave little in return. |

why isn't he on another team.... even if they only give the sox $1 to acquire dunn... it would be better than him being on this team the next 6 weeks |

Who would take him? There is little doubt in my mind that he cleared waivers so anybody could have made a deal for him. They still can, and you may see that happen before Sept 1st like the Sox did with Thome. I'm sure if Hahn's batphone rang and some GM asked, "what would it take to get Dunn," the answer would probably be something like "his September salary and a low A prospect." |

How much money is left on Dunn's deal this year? If it's about $3M or so, you'd think the White Sox would be able to work out a deal with another club where they pay the majority of what's left, but save a little of what they would have paid him. |

Especially with Garcia back. I would rather see Viciedo DH. At least, there is a chance he could help the Sox in the future. Maybe he can put together a nice finish to the season, and can be moved in the offseason. Dunn is gone after this year anyway. Cut him, and move on. |

Play Dunn every day - I want to see him break the strike out record in a Sox uniform. Seriously, I'd like to see Konerko play as much as he wants and Dunn can just keep his spot warm on the bench. |
