I have heard this from several outlets including the Sox broadcast itself that this guy is somehow on the 2015 staff. He hasn't been a gas can, I'll say that for him. Otherwise it seems like he is good for 4-5 for 7 innings of work.

Is 2105 projected to be the next championship window?

Because right now it's

Sale L
Q L
Rodon L
Danks L

And the Sox two best right handers are 19 years old and in high A.

I think its assumed he at least gets the chance to battle for a spot in next year's rotation. He's only 27, and with the Sox this year he is 8-8, 4.27 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and better than a 2:1 strikeout to walk ratio. You get that out of your 4/5 starter in the AL and that is pretty decent.
