It will be cool to see him sign with Kansas City in June of next season. |

The video, no problem with it, but once again, the story about him making the video and how much he breaks everything down and he has a plan for everything so he asked which hand he should use to pick up the Balls with first? ....of course then Scott Reifert needed to go further in giving us what his options where...left or right? I really am just guessing here, but the point was to make the whole thing look natural...and I am guessing the last time Paulie cleaned up the balls in the batting cage was 1986? The video tribute and good bye is a good thing, but once again, all the circus events going on around it this month and that night is what makes the event classless. |

I think bigfan is more offended by this all then Konerko is. I think Konerko will get over the White Sox showing too much appreciation for him for a month. Just wait until next year when we get the 10th anniversary celebration of the World Series team! bigfan may need to be institutionalized. |

I guess the constant lack of class shown by the organization has always been accepted and this is no different. They should milk the 10 year anniversary, milk it all you want, that will be a full year of sponsorships by Southside car dealerships or mobbed up trade unions. |

I think that would be overstating it. I doubt Konerko will even care about it when the season ends. He probably thinks it is over the top but most of the stuff for Konerko was pretty tame.

I assume he is pretty humble, thus probably not into the month long thing. One very nice night, would be appropriate, the using him to sell the tickets is cheesy. |
