I don't think they will need to divide up LHP and RHP the way the do during the regular season. I think there is enough of a difference between Quintana and Sale that even with a lefty lineup batting two days in a row the opponents hitters will still be off. The shutdown bullpen will also allow them to limit innings so that we can work with a three man rotation. |

1 Sale 2 Shark 3 Quintana 4 Rodon I don't like 3 man playoff rotations, and until proven otherwise Chris Sale is NOT Madison Bumgarner in the postseason. |

But I do think there is a drop off after Kershaw, Felix and Sale I'm confused by your response. I thought you were talking about the Sox rotation. Obviously, I like Kershaw and Felix better than Max. I didn't rank Scherzer low, I just said he is behind Sale. I'm a fan of a pitcher who can miss bats. But, like FF said, I need my ace to get through six innings without throwing 125 pitches. |
