Sox fans need to attend now or something is very wrong ....per Steve Stone, Don Coope and Adam Eaton. Remember those last 3 years of losing didnt really happen.

Attendance will still probably suck. I don't think there is really any pressure on the fans to attend now. There is definitely pressure on the players and Robin though.

And two years of losing, I think you mean.

So, if there is no pressure for fans to attend then Steve Stone is not correct in stating the fans really have no reason not to attend?

Yes, Steve Stone is incorrect if he said that. There are several great reasons for Sox fans not to attend. Baseball tickets are not that important when budgeting your disposable income.

Don cooper also stated there is something 'Wrong" if Sox fans dont attend.

Fuck Don Cooper. He needs to worry about not having the worst bullpen in the history of Western civilization this year.

There's nothing really wrong. There just aren't that many Sox fans that exist. They are necessarily going to have poor attendance because of that.

I would like to drink with Coop though.

Does the great COOOOOP have any responsibility for the shitty bullpen? I mean, we shit all over Tucker for the Bears blowing on defense. Can you have a shitty bullpen for a couple years and still be one of the greatest coaches ever?

IDK can you even fucking tell me who the Cubs bullpen coach has been the last three years?

I dont think that is a fair comparison. Tucker has never had impressive results anywhere in his career. I believe if he had a track record similar to Coops, his seat would not be quite so hot. Plus I think defensive coordinators have a bigger impact on the on-field results than pitching coaches do, but thats just a guess as I have no idea.

I guess I just don't understand what the Cubs Bullpen coach has to do with a question about the Sox Pitching coach?

It's tough to put it all on Coop, when the bullpen was Ronald Belisario, Javy Guerra, Scott Downs, and a ton of rookies. I would put it more on Hahn, who has obviously learned from his mistake.

Would you say that Emery similarly put Tucker in a bad starting position?

The point is Darko regardless of my mistype of bullpen coach rather than pitching coach is they gutted him last year and more. Lost Reed, Crain, Thorton and more others. Coopers magic/job is to keep things going best he can with what he has. Knowing when to have Sale and Shark whoever skip a start etc is the most important.

Yes.

Coop does have a good track record.

So your answer was no then. That would have been easier to say than that Cubs jive.

Its funny because my Sox fans gave him a passs for the the last 2 years, but talking to them yesterday, all of a sudden all those guys just got better because of Duke and Robertson.

Save guys with ERAs over 3.00 scare me and 4 year deals on save guys ? I am not going to go back and find all the kenny quotes about doing deals like this for closers, but I am sure the interweb is flooded with his comments ripping other teams for signing deals like this one.

My Sox fans have 6 season tickets under 1 guys name, I have no idea how many now they split tickets with, I think it is 8 people now, but they got the call yesterday asking of they wanted more seats. LOL....the guy who has 6 seats? Thats who you called to see if he is in for more money?
