Second game missed due to personal reasons. Are we about to lose this guy? Apparently he's been looking very bad since around Soxfest.

He's looked bad since puberty. So I don't think that's an indication. And I heard Rongey say it was a "Family matter" the other day. Which indicated that it wasn't about him.

Of course they'd say that. If Farmer doesn't want them telling everyone listening (like 50 people, but word travels eventually) he's in bad shape they wont just disregard that.

I stood right next to Farmer once about 12 years ago and he looked like shit back then. He is the Ron Wood of baseball announcers.

Isn't he diabetic or something. My wifes' brother is and he will not see 40. Farmio is what 65?

I don't know about that.

He almost died in 1990. But he got a kidney transplant. I'm sure he still has issues with that to this day.
