so I'm wondering if I should expect Dennis Eckersley or have to settle for John Smoltz This guy enters the rotation next year replacing Samardzija AND the Sox get a pick when Shark signs elsewhere. Hahn wins again! |

When Ventura calls upon Fullmer for his first appearance what is the over/under on: a) 1.5 baserunners b) 1.5 outs Gimme OVER baserunner and UNDER out. I have little doubt he probably gets called upon with bases loaded and zero outs. Not only has he been rushed out of desperation but Ventura will make sure to compound the mismanagement by destroying his confidence. |

even tho i know that "[sox player] + STUD! + WORLD SERIES!" is a beloved board meme, whenever i see this specific thread with "filmore-stud" i can't help but think it's about horce racing. |

He never should have been brought up. Should have kept starting in the minors, got a start or 2 in Sept with the Sox, and then started in the Spring. |

Heard on an update yesterday that he is not getting called up. Sox said he has reached his innings limit or something close to that. Wait'll next year! |

103 innings was his limit? They didn't realize that when they sent him down to get re-"stretched out". I hope there's some free agency control reason they're not bringing him back because if not they completely bumble fucked his entire season. |

There's the thought he may be shopped in an offseason trade and they don't want to diminish his value with a few bad outings late in the season. |
