But they said Uncle Jerry, Hahn and Robin were "huddling" before the game and all was good, even some laughter!

Ok I get Sale threw 125 last time out and 111 today... and you pay a closer a shit ton of money...
but you need this game. I know they're pretty much out of contention at this point. But you still need that win. Have to have it.
This was as crushing a loss as you can have.

Nah. About 240 pitches in Sale's last two starts. They went to their stud closer. He's top 5 in MLB. He lost it today. What are you gonna do?

Team isn't winning anything this year. So this game means nothing. Why tax Sale. If this is a September game and your in the race, yeah, Sale goes for the 9th. Not now.

Fire Ventura? Fine. He's not a good manager. Not cuz of today.

Yep, they had to have it and Robin goes by the book. And loses.

I think Robin just says fuck it and resigns, maybe at the All Star break.

They didn't have to have it. It's over. Be nice to have had it. But it's over for the Sox had they won or lost this game.

They are close to being a laughing stock but I get your point.

Sell everyone and rebuild. For Sale and Abreu, they could restock.

My advise to all of you is to not care. Just laugh at it. And only watch Sale starts from the start to finish. Casually flip back and forth for the other games. Though I might not watch any of those at some point.

they paid the closer 10 mil per year for 4 years.... if they cant trust him to hold a one run lead, that signing can easily rank as worst of the off-season... why on earth would you push sale any further than he already has been pushed... to get one win in a lost season? no thank you.
