Yeah, this team just keeps finding ways to lose. The offense is absolutely horrible and Ventura left Shark in a little bit too long. |

As the Cubs taught us, losing is the new winning. Only the Cubs were trying to lose while the Sox have been trying to win. Doesn't matter if we keep getting top picks in the 1st round. Woooooooooo hoooooooooo!!!! |

The White Sox have hit on some pitchers when drafting in the first round (Sale, Rodon) but their record on hitters is appalling. I have no problem with a youth movement focusing on rebuilding the farm system, but I don't trust the management to make the correct picks. |

But sometimes when you have the 1st pick there is a no brainer type of guy. Like Griffey Jr, A-Rod and Bryant. That no GM can fuck up. I really don't know if that guy is in the draft as I don't follow that shit. But I'm hoping there is. |

The best part of this awful Sox run is how quiet it has led America to be around here. America wrote: The one thing that has me holding out hope right now is the top of the rotation has gotten its shit together and could put the Sox on an extended run. America wrote: Avi > Rizzo. Younger, faster and plays something other than 1st. America wrote: Sox climbing back into this slowly but surely. America wrote: there is a decent chance that the Sox have the AL's best bullpen. |

But even with those bad players, they were still "no brainers" for the most part. In other words most of the other teams would have taken them as well. It just didn't work out. Baseball is weird and sometimes college and HS doesn't translate to MLB. |
