I think the Sox maximized what he could be last year. Still, his splits SCREAM a good platoon player. I don't think the Sox look at stats.

They got CASH, which is what I have said they should be concerned about. Would think between cleaning out some contracts and raising churro prices, they actually can RELOAD for the first time...

However the "RELOAD" Marketing Program might not be such a great idea!!!!!!

I posted Gillaspie's numbers last year. He was in the top 3rd of MLB 3B. The Sox were foolish in the way they used him and gave him away. Still, it cost them nothing and they had a couple of decent years at 3B from him.
