If I was running the Sox I would declare they are buyers and not going for it....just as I would say we are winning it all every year...why not? Whats going to happen? Someone is going to get mad and not show up or not watch? Guess what....that happens.. So, why not go all "Major League" on it...? They got pitching...get rid of Laroche, get a speed guy, or anther valuable utility guy... They arent getting anything major for any players they have, so why not tweek and go for it? Makes a great story....

The excitement and optimism after 5 games is putting to shame the excitement Hawks fans had after winning the freaking Cup. You have Sox fans stating matter-of-factly Toronto acquired Tulowitzki because of the Sox  Let's say 2nd wild card needs 85 wins. That'll require .580 ball. Doable since the Sox have been playing 1.000 ball the past 5 games! |
