I think you see with last night's setback that it is going to take a fairly miraculous run to be in this thing at the end. I don't count on miracles. The returns for players yesterday appear to have been pretty good and I am sure there are some buyers that remain. Get yourself some. See if you can get from under that Laroche contract as well.

If a trade makes sense, do it. Don't move guys just to move guys. On the flip side don't do something stupid like give up Tim Anderson for a rental player. If the Sox win 10 of their next 15 or 16 games, that puts them right near the second Wild Card lead. I don't think of that kind of run as being some sort of miracle.
