Hahn can be as professional as he wants and tell Sox fans 'All is Well! ....but there has been a communication breakdown in roles and choices made the last 2 WEEKS. The Astros basically said it in a polite and public way. My sources! giving me the same info last night "Hard to deal with' due to the layers of input needed.

cant tell me a better run organization cant move Bonafacio and Laroche if just not for salary relief!

bottom line....too many cooks

Thinking they where buyers after beating the Indians and Red Sox was beyond stupid. R.Hahn should be fired for this mess. White Sox missed out trading Shark for a decent prospect and messed up their chance at a top ten draft pick by keeping him. What a cluster fuck this team has become.

Would've been a good time to sell relatively high on Melky too.

You know Shark is pissed too. He is now tied to draft pick compensation which limits his market big time.

Yep. They owe him 29M for the next 2 years plus the rest of the 13M for this year. Ouch.

I'm interested to see how he pitches now that the trade deadline has passed. If he performs like he did the second half of last year he will be lucky to get 15MIL a year.

...same thing said to me about Dbacks organization.

Press 1 to speak with the GM
Press 2 to speak with the President
Press 3 to speak with the owner

Picture yourself cutting deals or trying to cut deals, who do you talk to? Who is the point man? You have 29 other teams in the game, do you wait on the team who doesnt call back because they are talking internally?

I believe there was a team when the cubs president of business operations, actually got involved in this stuff.....and thats what some teams still do.
