http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2015/08/20/ ... -thursday/ http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-bas ... ed-jerseys They were the the Mike North of Sox jerseys... love them or hate them, here they are. Sox will wear the 1976 collared "pajama" jersey uniforms sans bermuda shorts this Thursday night against Seattle. Soft spot in my heart for these uniforms. My dad got me the hat and jersey one night at a game against Cleveland. Sat in left field behind two long haired stoners heckling the Indians left fielder, Horace Speed. They had the whole section laughing so hard that four Andy Frain ushers showed them out. Speed was even laughing at one point. "Whore-Ass!!! Wanna toke?!?" |

As a side note, after the 1981 season, the collared uniforms were retired. Not sure how many remember but the Sox had an open contest to design the new uniforms for the upcoming season. Here is a few of the final designs that were made into prototypes... |

Nothing says "tradition" more than complete 5 complete uniform changes over 35 years. We are not talking about updated or modified version, we are talking 100% full changes...and what they settled on is great if you are trying to be #1 in the "wanna be rap" crowd, but that crowd for the most part doesnt actually earn much money....few do, most dont. Still need to get a better explanation of the deaths of Ribbie and Roobarb!? Suspicious circumstances! I am saying it was Andy the Clown, who they replaced.... |

Here's a good trivia question. Only one man in the history of baseball hit a home run while wearing shorts. Who is he? |

Your team could be in pink tutus when they win a World Series and, believe me, it's really nice. Don't be a jealous Cub fan. |

In the grand scheme of things, the White Sox have generally worn pinstripes with a blackletter SOX monogram (1949-1975, 1991-2015). It was really just the '80s when they were all over the place, and lots of teams were all over the place in the '80s. How do you think the White Sox should look if what they have now is too downmarket? |

loved the nose picker collar shirts and still do I remember those uniform suggestions being handed out to vote on. I was a kid and thought they were cool. Those are horrible. |

#2 isn't a whole lot different than the way they went. It looks like a fucking license plate across the front of the jersey. |

Cardinals, Pirates, and A's are right up there. Braves would be but they keep fucking with them and adding extra jerseys and hats. EDIT: The Cubs have worn some variation on their main logo at home since 1937 and have worn it on pinstripes since 1957. They've messed around with road uniforms a lot, but the home uniforms have been consistent. |

Cubbie tradition photos . And that photo doesn't include the powder blues, the "Cuba" jersey, etc.. IMO, the Sox should have stuck to the Nellie Fox version. |

Didn't Mark Grace have something to do with the design of the infamous "Cuba" jerseys? I seem to remember something about that. |

The Sox ones are essentially the ones they wore in the 50s without the little bit of red trim (I love red trim). Bring back the red trim! |

I'm going with Yankees, Tigers, Dodgers, and Giants. All solid choices, though the Giants are adding too many alternate jerseys (orange, black, grey with "SF" instead of San Francisco) and making baseball uniforms more confusing than they need to be. How would you have the White Sox look? |
