I'm told that Southpaw will undergo changes to his frock next year...

Hoping to emulate the success of the Cubs and their mascot, Clark, Southpaw will not be wearing pants next season. This should be a big hit on Family Sundays.

In addition, there is also speculation that Southpaw will go to a 59FIFTY flat brimmed baseball hat and cock it to one side.

I know it's all true because I'm told this was continually lamented by THE.LOUDEST.VOICE.IN.THE.ROOM...

It came from me, it cant be funny, that would ruin Franks entire being....and it is funny, because it is true and isnt meant to be funny. A real meeting was held, new options presented and Southpaw retained his job!

It was even funny to the White Sox people who told me as they laughed about it.

Dont think they are looking for that to get out...and not for the public humiliation of it, they just dont want Kenny to know about it or he will get involved in that too.

It is not the least bit surprising that the marketing team of a company would meet to discuss the continuation of a mascot. That is their job. Now, if it was JR, Hawk and KW in the room discussing it, then we have a problem
