Sounded like it today. He was pretty vehement.

It's about time. They can certainly do better.

No shame for Robin. He certainly tried.

And don't pick a former player this time. I think all White Sox fans are looking for new talent.

Only after Stoney teed it up for him.

Who does Jerry hire as the next Manager. Kittle? Pauly?

La Russa.

Or George Brett.

I am certain the Sox have reached out to Paulie but he's enjoying his summers at home on his couch. It's not like he needs the check.

They have him on the Ventura plan.

1. Come to spring training, walk around , take a title of spring training instructor.
2. Out of nowhere be asked to be manager.

I see a lot of sense in bringing Ozzie back. He may have needed the reality break he got, but he's a good manager.

Based on what exactly? His failure to understand the percentages in sacrifice bunting and stealing?

Bring him back don't bring him back what difference does it make? Ozzie won't matter. No manager would. They have no bearing on the season. Or the game.

Boers said that Ventura is #1 manager on the hot seat to begin next year. Basically, he wants him gone to put him there.

You need a guy with a little intensity. Pauly and Ventura are too laid back. That's why I always liked LaRussa. When he left the dug-out, you knew the sparks would fly.

Exactly. The manager is just a dumb thing for fans to talk about. Remember two weeks ago when Joe Maddon was a good manager? Now he's just the moron who didn't start Jon Lester and failed to challenge an obvious bad call on the bases. I'm pretty sure if the Sox hit well and pitch well they'll be fine with Ventura or whoever writing down the lineup and calling for Zach Duke to face a lefty.

Joe Maddon is still a good to great manager.
Playing Lester on short rest was not the right move.

He's a great magician.

He made Bryant disappear during the post season, although he couldn't completely make Babe Schwarber invisible in LF.

Rumor has it that Chris Angel (The Mind Freak!) will be taking Ole' Joe under his wing this off-season.

Yep he did all that ...oh wait... Where did the Sox finish? Keep drinking the cheapest thing you can find... Just admit the Cubs had a better year than the Sox. Yea, Maddon was so bad... Probably will be the manager of the year... Chris Bryant....name your rookie that was better.... Oh wait you can't....who is your CY young... Oh wait, Sale couldn't compete, oh yea, Schwarber is better than anybody in your farm system.... My bad... Why can't you just accept the fact that the Cubs had a good year? Oh wait you cant, you are still trying to get home from a White Sox game without being killed...I am sorry, I am wrong on all these accounts....

We need to decide if manager's matter or not.

If they don't, then why the Ned Yost hatred?

If they do, that explains why Madden is so beloved.

Just don't like both ways.

Ned Yost is an idiot no matter what; if they win, it's despite him. If they lose, it's because of him.

Joe Madden is brilliant; if they win, it's because he is forward thinking. If they lose, they are too young and a year ahead of plan.

Managers most definitely matter..The only person I heard say Yost was an idiot was Dan Bernstein, who himself is a fucking idiot. Back to Back world series appearances without an ACE...he don't even have a solid 2 starter.
