Hawk discussing the babygate scandal claimed, and I'm paraphrasing here, that this whole thing might just be a very clever plan from Kenny to try to give the boys a common thing to rally around.

Just fucking retire already you old weird bastard.

Maybe in the same way 'fracking' is.

Maybe he should sign actual professional baseball players to rally around? Just a thought.

Maybe I missed the reason, but why is Hawk only doing road games? If, you are slowing down, isnt it easier to do home games?

Yes, I am aware he lives in South Bend, or close, but I cant believe he doesnt have an estate in South Bend, and cant afford a corporate Rental downtown, so when they had a homestand you get a car to drive you over to the game, stay in the downtown place, 15 min drive home.

I understand you get older, you want to take it easy, but I am missing the part that being on the road is easier? Even with the Sox special gate flying out of Ohare, just getting there, the flight, checking in to a hotel, what a pain in the ass.

Is Hawk still getting road 'tang and thats the reason?

I thought he was pretty good last night, who knows if he had an offseason's worth of material saved up, if he's suddenly become worried about his legacy or what.

It makes sense. On the road he gets to be with the team. He doesnt wanna sit alone in a corporate apartment while all the players are home with their families.

And all the good golf is on the road.

the old SOB lives down in South Bend or something. working on the road is much easier and wait staff willing to listen to his idiocy.

Lemme tell you somethin', Bryster, there's some awfully good golf courses in Northwest Indiana. I played Sandy Pines last week and I'd put it on par with Pebble Beach and Winged Foot. It's not quite Augusta, but pretty close. Who do you like in the Masters this weekend? Bubba Watson, the best I've ever seen at hitting a six iron from the rough behind a portable toilet.

At this point I am in favor of a cage or holding pen at the cell where Hawk can be contained and view sox games as fans look on....Call it the Hawk's Nest so fan's can watch his joy and pain...

I never heard so much ass kissing in my entire life.
When it comes to loyalty to an organization,Hawk has saved Reinsdorf a lot of money on colonoscopy bills.
