I liked he job Reteria did with the Cubs. But when Madden became available, he had to get the shaft. The Sox need to do something to shake things up and can't make major changes so early in the season to the roster, so having Renteria take over as Manager, might make sense. Cooper might not like it, since it might mean he could no longer dictate all the pitching moves though.
