Assuming he falls back to around 300, having him as a RF with CF backup ability is a fantastic fit. Not a big fan of the K rate being so high for a leadoff guy... look at 4/8 vs the Indians, you get 21 pitches where only 12 are strikes, but he has 2 Ks and no BBs. That's not good, but he does an OK job of seeing some pitches in the leadoff spot. You could make the argument that leadoff is the best place to have a high strikeout guy because nobody is on the bases to advance, but I'd prefer my high strikeout guys to have high home runs/RBIs. |
