https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hRPCPP9yUk The dynamics of this bases loaded triple play was interesting 1. Prince Fielder was the runner at 3rd. Because he's fat, he wasn't tagging. He went half way. Anybody that has decent speed would have tagged knowing he's got it. Then again, Fielder still should have still tagged, despite being fat, knowing if the ball got down, he would have scored anyway. So he fucked up. 2. Throw to first by Eaton to get the runner off the base that thought it was getting down. That guy fucked up as well for being so far off. But the key was Abreu not tagging him right away. Him scrambling to try to tag him is what led Fielder to make a break for home. Thus, the weird triple play. You'll never see that play again. |

There were 3 bad running baseball decisions by the Rangers that made it possible. Two by Fielder on one play. |

Yeah, but the guy on 2nd thinking Fielder is actually going to hustle home? |

The guy at first shouldn't have been that far off the base after it was hit. And, like you said, he should have made a slide into 1st on the way back. |

In the past that ball gets down and the Rangers win that game. Credit the defense for executing, it does seem like a new Sox. |

Why does my obvious and fair question about Arietta bother you so much? It really shouldn't. He's probably on PEDs. If you're fine with that, fine. But to deny it cuz he wears Cubbie blue is weird. I'm a Sox fan and I know damn well that Jim Thome was on Roids. Despite him being the nicest person in the world according to Reinsdorf. |

I'm just sayin... you don't get a triple play like that without being on PEDs. Anyone can see it. Why are you so mad about it? It's not like everyone doesn't know it |

How mad can Cubs fans be? LETS RECAP BEFORE ANSWERING: ACT ONE Cubs' PED using fraud who couldn't hackit in the majors goes down to AAAA and no-hits some garbage roster designed to lose and gets minor pub. ACT TWO Debate inexplicably ensures; delusional Cubs fans (oxymoron) cling to false hope that the man responsible for the least impressive no hitter in MLB history is not using steroids. Sox fans, harbingers of truth that they have always been, are the beacons of enlightenment in this Brave New World of willful ignorance and superstition. ACT THREE Goodness prevails. Sox turn historic triple play that overshadows the accomplishments of one fraudlent bearded meme; Cubs fans are eternally upset that one out of the 366 (leap year, right?) nights of this year, 2016, belong to the White Sox. The spectre of the Cubs' is not yet vanquished however, the bearded meme remains strong boosted by his PEDs and borderline AAA rosters he succeeds against... SEQUEL FORTHCOMING.... but to answer the initial question... Cubs fans are quite upset. |

The worst was Fielder. Just stay standing on the 3rd base bag. |

I am still getting over the fact I was so supposed to be upset about a play I didnt know that happened until America just informed me as a cubs fan I should be upset! Guess I am not doing my part as a Cubs fan. Now that Drake is gone, they had time to work on that kind of play in spring training. Made it all different. |
