This team has had a hard time putting lesser teams away. Tonight the Suns came back from 20 points down and are hanging around. I'm worried this will catch up with them in the playoffs. Am I over reacting?

I would focus your negative energy on the Sox bullpen. The Bulls will be fine.

honestly i think op has a point. we havent played anybody in a month. we only have a few real games left, but nothing like the playoffs will be. however, we are young with experience so we should be fine.

They have played down to competition and Rose has sat out much more time than he will in the playoffs.

This team has shown they can step it up and it's fine they have that room to step up and will need to.

I'm hoping the recent poor performance is just complacency before the playoffs start. The #1 seed is pretty much locked up, so guys might be starting to take some time off. Complacency can be scary, but as long as everyone turns it back on when the playoffs start, they will be fine. I don't think Rose will let this team sleep-walk in the playoffs.

I'm all for resting starters if that is Coach Thibs plan, but when teams are allowed to claw back from 20+ down and it takes D-Rose to win it, that does bother me. I need to see others get involved to close the game out because in the playoffs, D-Rose will see double and maybe triple teams against him.
Deng, Boozer and CJ need to try to take the load off of D-Rose and get the opponent's D to match up man for man.

Sorry for having concerns RPB. Fucking forgive me. Are they invalid concerns? I don't think so.

Well, they really won't be facing 'lesser' teams in the playoffs outside of their first series. Worst case scenario is winning in 6 instead of 5, but if the biggest concern right now is the ability to put away bad teams, we are sitting in a great spot.

i don't think the bulls have too much to worry about..they have the 1 seed on lockdown, and are the favorite to win the east and probably the whole thing.

I've got one for you...Free throw shooting. This team can be real bad from the charity stripe and it can cost them come playoff time.

Well I do share your concern the Bulls could lose an early game or two in the first round, the sheer talent differential will almost assuredly guarantee the Bulls a deep second round run. There's a good chance the Bulls can get to the Conference Finals without ever trailing or being tied in a playoff series...

All these nagging injuries aren't a good thing though. Continuity is huge in the playoffs.
