Shaq stays out of foul trouble (after all of the Heat whining). DWade goes for 41. Heat by 12.

You gotta love the way the Bulls run their offense. Skiles has taught them well. Yeah they're a jump shooting team. But they work so hard to get good shots. It's very fun to watch.

They are really active. If they keep this up I may need to find my broom.

It's nice to see Wallace keeping the ball alive and kicking it back out to Deng for second chances. That's what they are paying him to do.

So far Ben Wallace has been playing outstanding in these playoffs. This is why we got him.

The ball movement tonight has been amazing.

It's really hard not to watch this and think about this team in the NBA Finals...

Good ball movement. High energy level. Why do I feel like this lead isn't safe?

Yeah, I was a little worried early in the 4th after Gordon ended the 3rd with that turnover.

But, Deng really is tough. It's nice to see him coming up big in the playoffs after the nice season he has had.

The team looks good, playoff ready, so far. I'll be interested to see how they perform on the road.

Anyone think Shaq will bitch about not getting a foul called after the rim rejected him?

You guys remember how we got Deng? We traded out next years first round pick to the Suns for their 7th overall pick. We went on to have a 47 win season so that pick was in the 20's. LOL. Give Pax credit for that gem.

We got Gordon and Deng in that draft.

Don't tell Bernstein that. He seems to believe that Deng is a player who works hard, but has limited upside.

Seriously, though, this guy is an unbelievable mid-range shooter, and is our best overall player. Hinrich is right there too as far as an all around player, and Gordon is the most explosive player on the team though Deng is gaining ground there.

The Bull are playing like a TEAM, plain and simple. It's very encouraging, now we'll see how they perform on the road.

I vote for a replay of the first game of the season.

BD, the mid-range jumper is something that has fallen out of favor in the last 15 years or so. Too many slashers and not enough basketball players. MJ took his game to another level when he developed his mid-range jumper. Deng can pull up from anywhere inside the three point line, as can Gordon. That's basketball.
I've had a couple cocktails, so the Bull kool-aide is flowing. That and I hate the fucking Cub.

Apparently so can Sefalosha.

Watching tonight, it occurred to me: Deng and Gordon are perfect complimentary players. For the first part of the game, Miami went man, and Gordon shot the effin' lights out. They were forced to switch to zone, and Deng broke their back with mid-range jumpers. You guard one, and the other gets off. The result is that they both got off.

And how about Thabo? This guy is going to be something. When he's out on defense, he's like another Deng with his ability to go for rebounds and having an incredibly long reach for blocks. He's playing with high confidence and is knocking down jumpers with regularity.

How's that theory that this team hasn't shown improvement by the way? Skiles has his guys playing as a team perhaps better than any team in the NBA, and as these guys mature, they only figure to get stronger. When we look back on today 5 years from now, I'll be very surprised if we didn't see at least one championship.

Great game all around tonight but I just can't understand why the hell those guys play so damn dirty sometimes. And what do they have against Tyrus? The Posey-Mourning foul at the end of the game on him was completely unnecessary and obviously intentional. Plus they had the balls to try and complain about the foul and act all innocent. Who the hell are they crappin?

I haven't watched as many Bulls game as you guys but my perception was that during the regular season Deng would often defer to Gordon and to a lesser extent Hinrich during the fourth quarter of close games. To see Deng come up big in the fourth quarter hopefully is an indication of things to come.

And while seeing the Bulls play last night made me think that this team could play in the finals, I would like to seem them beat miami at least once on the road in games three or four. If the Bulls can pull of a road win then I will be convinced that this team has indeed made a step up in their level of play.

I worry about a game 5 with the series tied.

Most things have been said here on the game. I just want to say it was one of the most enjoyable games to watch in a long time. The ball movement, the hustle, the defense, the continued effort of Ben Wallace earning his money...Hell, everyon on this team has been stepping it up. Sefalosha has been making a move to my favorites on the team. The difference this year from the past two is that Deng has actually showed up for these playoffs.

They get paid far less per game during playoff season.

Nas, did you watch the game? He played well. Stats aren't everything. How many boards did Chandler have last night?

I thought Wallace played great defense on Shaq - how many times did we see Shaq travel, get stripped, etc last night ? I think Wallace plays a part in that.

My bad, Nas. I didn't keep reading your post. I just became so enraged when I read that you wrote he only had 9 points and 6 boards and thought you were being critical. Now that I have finished reading the entire post, I feel a lot better.

I think Game 4 is the more winnable of the two game there. If the Heat don't play their best game in Game 3, they're toast.
