As much as I'd love to dump Boozer, I wonder how much Pau has left in the tank. He kind of quit last year against the Mavs and he doesn't seem like he plays a lot of defense. Plus if Rose is hurt you're going to need another backup point guard. I hope they don't give up that Charlotte pick because that's a gold mine in 3 or 4 years.

are you kidding? Dream trade. Gasol makes guys like Bynum better. He'd be a force for the Bulls, and I personally think Gasol dislikes Kobe, but that's just my observation through my tv.

Gasol for Boozer is a no-brainer, but if you need your backup point guard you're in trouble. I think Boozer/Gibson is probably close to equal to Gasol.

The Lakers may think Boozer has a longer up side. He did flourish in the West for a few years. Boozer doesnt like physical play. All the good East teams fuck up Boozer. Gasol is a low post finisher. Boozer is a thinner Stacy King (when he played I mean) and his vertical is a little higher. He does have offensive skills but they seem to disappear when someone bodys him up. You make this deal even if you have to give up that pick. Rose's window may not be as long as we may have hoped.

This is what I'm afraid of. He takes a beating and they better get a ring soon.
