Who knew Sam Smith was such a genius, picking GS in 6? Too bad he had the Heat winning in 6 too.

Don Nelson is very, very strange. I love him though.

I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but looking down the road at a Warriors-Suns conference finals, how awesome would that be?

You gotta give Baron Davis some credit for bringing along Jessica Alba 8)

Baron Davis is just incredible. He really took that game over last night as GS just seemed able to only hang around, and not much more as the 3's weren't falling for them. Dallas has no answer for his drives to the hoop.

GS's in the driver seat, but this series can still go either way. I'm assuming Dallas takes care of business on Tuesday, so that Game 6 in GS is going to be a monster game.

Well, Baron Davis giveth and he taketh away. I think he almost single-handedly cost the Warriors the game last night. They had a big lead with around 3 minutes left. He brings the ball down three or four possessions in a row, holds it, then throws up a really poor shot. Meanwhile, the Mavs get the board and hit their threes.

The Warriors had been moving the ball around very crisply and creating open shots up until that point.

I really wanted to see Cuban cry last night...

I just hope the Warriors can recover from that loss. Devastating. I still think though that it was more of an incredible comeback from Dallas than a choke by the Warriors. I have to give Nowitzki some credit. If he misses even one of those 2 3's, the game is likely over.

The pressure is now on the Warriors to win game 6, nobody wants a game 7 in Dallas.

I don't think we were watching the same game. In the game I was watching Baron Davis brought the ball up and was immediately double teamed. Therefore he had to pass the ball and other play forced terrible shots.

I guess we'll disagree again. I saw him bring it up, get stopped, then throw up some ridiculous shots (two or three times in a row). The rebounds from those shots turned into two 3's by Dirk and I can't remember the third. That's how the Warriors lost their lead.

Now I don't really care about either team so I wasn't watching as closely as I would a Bulls game, but that's how I saw it play out.

On a side note, I can't believe the foul that the refs called on him (when he fouled out)...

Dirk finally came through with the big 3's, but also the block on Barnes after hitting the first 3. Looked like Barnes had an easy layup.

Also, great strategy by Dallas to force the ball out of Baron Davis' hands. Dallas ran some aggressive doubles at him, and he just panicked, and his teammates ended up taking bad shots.

They may have to consider having Ellis in the game for his ball handling, and running Davis off screens.

Game 7 of this series is tomorrow for all practical purposes. GS has the game on their court. They need to close it out at home, but you have to think Dallas regained some confidence with the big comeback late.

Yes, you could say they gained some confidence, but on the other hand they let a 20 point lead slip and needed an incredible comeback just to win on their home court.

I think the biggest thing was that Dirk finally came through, and going on the road now, we'll see if he can have another big game/4th quarter like that again.

GS had that game last night...I'm just worried from their perspective that they don't recover from blowing a 9 point lead with about 3:30 to go. We'll see how they rebound in Quarter 1 tomorrow night.

I agree. I'm concerned about that as well. I don't think they can recover from a 20 point deficit again if that were to happen. They need to step on the throttle right away and not let up.

It was funny, earlier in the year when they beat Dallas to end one of their long winning streaks, they must have been up by 20 or 25 in the 4th. The W's announcers were so paranoid, you could tell they could have been up by 50 and they were still worried the Mavs were going to mount a comeback.

Game 6

It's the 8 minute mark in the 3rd and Dallas just looks like they don't give a shit. Nobody runs at the open man on GS's 3 point attempts. Their help defense is slow. Dirk looks like he's just gonna launch shots instead of drive. Despite the fact that he's 1-10.

Baron Davis is on one leg and nobody on Dallas is isolating him up and taking him to the hoop. Why not? He can't move. Davis is gutsy though he's just nailing 3's still. I'll give that guy credit.

YEAH BABEEEEEEEE. Damn I continue to be amazed at how Stephen Jackson and Richardson are playing. Nelly has gotten them to play at the highest level of their careers.

Coast? What were the odds on the Warriors winning this series before it started. I'd guess 50-1 at least.
