WOOOO!!! 82 - 0 BABY!!!

Positives from 10/31 game:

- Carlos Boozer actually looked like an NBA power forward last night (shout-out, one love Kid). If he can hit that fadeaway with any consistency, he'll barely top John Salmons for league MVP this year.

- Jo played like a man.

- Nice to see the Rip Hamilton from Detroit show up in this first game. His mid-range game appears much improved from last season early on. His mask was also really shiny.

- BELL - I - NELL - I (clap clap clapclapclap)

Bellinelli actually looked solid last night after having a horrendous preseason. Noah looked like a beast. The minutes for Deng & Noah in the first game of the year was a bit worrisome for a game that the Bulls controlled almost all 48 minutes. Sacramento kept it kinda close, but I don't think they ever had a realistic chance to win this game.

The Kings have a nasty habit of letting Cousins should the ball wherever he's currently standing on the court in the final 3 minutes of games.

They would have if Noah stayed out much longer. When they put that Taj/Boozer lineup out there the Kings were almost fighting themselves over who would get to drive to the basket for an And-1 or at least a couple free throws. That's a terrible defensive combo.

Is this the thread where I say that I'd rather the Bulls play for a lottery pick and open up cap space than spend a year eking out wins against Sacramento?

I dont think thats a meatball(meathead) or whatever thought. Im guessing most people would agree. I just think it's entirely unrealistic.

I just heard a question from Tom Waddell that begs an answer: "In the final minutes of a close game, where do they turn for a clutch shot?"

Is it Deng?

There's only like 5-6 guys in the league who are always the answer to that question. Since we have one, but he is hurt, we will be like 80% of the league and just run our offense, with whoever has the hot hand as the primary option.

I know it's just the 1st game, but Kirk should be demoted to Corporal. Hopefully,he improves.

Kirk didn't have a solid game scoring-wise, but he just needs to be a textbook PG right now and keep the ball moving.

i want to be into this season. i so want to. but i cant. because it sucks. even if we had rose, are we really that good? were not. we dont have a team that can beat miami. so why even hold the fort down? why even watch this crap? it will be a great year for noah, gibson and butler to grow and mature, but thats about it. i mean im glad we have kirk back and im glad we dont have vinne de negro, but is that all stuff to get excited about? carlos boozer. chuck it at the rafters and hope it falls through the hole. god dammit.

Rip Hamilton is the best player on this Bulls team.

82 - 0 STILL A REALITY!!!!

Rip Hamilton is the second best player in the league behind James Harden. Noah is a close third, followed by LeBron James and Nate Robinson.

Strong showing tonight against a young, yellow Cavs team.
