"He's not quite ready," Thibodeau said. "But there's always a possibility."

The Nets are asking fans to wear black at their home games in hopes of creating a "Blackout." Typically, many teams opt to go with a "Whiteout" effect, but the Nets are going a different route. The players also will wear their black uniforms at home.

"I don't know if I'm sold on it yet," Williams said. "I don't know if everybody is going to comply to that one. People in our stands, they want to look cool. So I don't know if they are going to go for the black."
