So where does this leave Derrick?

He's either doing his best to listen to his manager/brother because he truly thinks he's getting sound advice (and therefore didn't want to come back last year) or he's got absolutely no backbone and allows other people choose his life for him.

I'd like to think that if Derrick really wanted to come back last year, no one would have kept him off the court.
