Teague fucking sucks. He's made like 4 good plays in 2 years. As maybe the last staunch defender left of the GarPax era, this is disappointing. Locking up Butler is good since Deng is gone by the end of this year or sooner.

i dont know what they are doing. maybe pax believes they had a real chance to win it all these last two years, and thibs ruined it by standing on the accelerator. maybe thibs isnt doing anything any other coach COULD do if they were dumb enough.

They're paying Teague next to nothing. Bringing him back on his continuing rookie deal makes sense just for cap reasons. If he can develop anything by the end of next year, great. Kirk is going to go down with an injury sometime this year, so Teague will get some run during the course of the season. If he shows anything, maybe the Bulls can even move him.

I thought there were a few teams looking to trade for him. It seems to make sense to keep him even if it is just to eventually move him.
