This is all true except for the part about "becoming" a Bulls puppet. He's always been a Bulls puppet. If anything, Jerry Reinsdorf is his first love.

But yes, Thibs is done, and Dan's job is obviously to turn the tide against him in the public conversation by saying he's on the autism spectrum and "just like Doug," another failure.
