I wasn't a fan of the McDermott drafting. However I do understand the thinking behind it. The Bulls needed offense and McDermott can score.

The other thing which McDermott and Paxson bashers need to consider are the people drafted after McDermott. Is there anyone that was drafted after McDermott that you can definitively say will be a better pro than him?

Which person did Paxson pass on that he should not have?

Is there a guy drafted later that will be a better pro? If you can state that definitively then the drafting of McDermott was a mistake.
