That would be Larry Bird, hands down, not even close.

Long time Scottie guy. You can make an argument that Bird was more of an offensive threat and maybe even pull together some numbers to prove it, but I am a biased Bulls fan and say that Scottie is. He is also one of the greatest NBA players ever and a first ballot HOFer. Did I mention my fav guy on the Bulls in the glory years?

Scottie Pippen was great, but Larry Bird gets my vote. Julius Erving and Dominique Wilkens are also in the team photo. Scottie's superb defensive play gives him the edge over either of them though.

Most underrated player in NBA history.
The fact that he was left of the NBA's 50 greatest list is criminal.

Robert Parish makes the 50 greatest list, but Wilkens doesn't? The guy played with Bird and McHale for godsakes! As opposed to Dominique who played with the legendary Tree Rollins and Kevin Willis. Utter bullshit.

No I couldn't, because I would hate to look like a fool in front of this esteemed peer group.

The only time I considered owning a Dodge was when the Durango's have just come out (97, I believe.)

I love Scottie too, but really there isnt any comparison to be made. Bird is easilly in the top 5 greatest players of all time, while Scottie sits comfortably in the top 50. Scottie was a sidekick, Bird was the man in Boston, yes he had some amazing help, but he was to the Celtics what MJ was to the Bulls.

I know Magic was ending his career, but Scottie locked him down in the finals.
