If anyone has listened to ESPN Radio 1000 & the Chicago Bulls Radio Network the last couple of nights, there's a familiar voice to Chicago radio listeners calling the Bulls' preseason games vs. the Utah Jazz with Bill Wennington. He is the one & only Chuck Swirsky, who was a fixture at WGN 720 some 2 decades ago before moving on to call the University of Michigan & most recently the Toronto Raptors on radio & TV. Bulls' fans, I know you're still getting accustomed to seeing & hearing Neil Funk on the TV side calling games with Stacey King this season. I'm interested to hear what you think of "The Swirsk" calling the Bulls on radio. Based on everything I've read, Chuck's very excited to come home to Chicago. In my opinion, Chuck definitely has the face & voice for radio. Wennington's already excited to work with "The Swirsk" on the Bulls' radio broadcasts, and folks, I think he is worth your time this basketball season.
