The Pistons have been hard to figure since Allen Iverson's acquisition. On a very emotional night in which Johnny "Red" Kerr gets honored, I think the Bulls actually win this one by 8, thanks to double-doubles from Derrick Rose & Luol Deng. I think Rose gets 15 & 12 assists, while 25 & 13 rebounds for Deng gets the Bulls win #23 and back on track on the United Center floor. Too bad Drew Gooden misses another game with the groin & ankle.

Thomas and Noah are having a nice night.

Rose just made Rasheed look silly.

So if we keep seeing games like this, can we pretty much forget the Amare trade?

I agree Nas, but with Pax's track record I just worry that he will now be convinced these guys are starting to come together and there is no need for a trade. Hope I am wrong.

Rose is awesome. It's funny how much better he is than any other Bull.

What a difference a quarter makes. I watch in the 3rd quarter and see Tyrus and Noah get abused by Wallace. After seeing nothing but bad from Kirk and Tyrus, I turn it off in disgust and then wake up to see that they won and various talking heads talking about how Tyrus and Noah have turned the corner and maybe the trade shouldn't go down. Trade about em all, except for Rose. Does anyone remember the Brand for Chandler trade? Get the proven All Star and stop waiting on the bumslayer.

good win for the bulls; not only a nice tribute but to beat your rival, at home, on a night like that. feel good win.

i'd like to see them get stoudemire and go on a huge run.

Exactly. Now is the time to trade Tyrus before teams decide that they need to put a guy on him and he is once again exposed for the dope that he is.

That was a very impressive win last night, and I didnt even get to see it. The Bulls looked like they were dead with about 5-6 minutes to go and went on one of the best runs ive seen them do all season. I taped the game on my DVR, so I could watch it afterwards without commericals. When the Bulls cut the lead down to one with about a minute left my recording ended. I didnt even get to see Gordon's 4-point play or the rest of the final 60 seconds.

The tribute to Kerr was also enjoyable. It's very sad to see the condition he is in now compared to about 9 months ago when last season ended. He's looking extremely thin and seeing him in a wheelchair was also a shock. Also when he spoke, you could tell he is really starting to fade. People always joked about his commentary the last 5 years or so, but at least he could string a thought together then. Last night he was having trouble remembering names and finishing sentences. It will be sad to see him go, but I don't think Red will be around much longer. Some of his calls of historic plays during all the great years will be remembered for years to come. I know he was mostly just a cheerleader behind the mic, but when MJ hit all those game winning shots, his cheers were the perfect addition to any broadcast.

What's the deal with Uncle Jerry & Bulls' GM John Paxson getting booed at halftime as "Red" Kerr was getting honored? I know those two are responsible for this mess with the current team, but at least show some respect on a night where the Bulls' first head coach, circa 1966, was the guest of honor! What the hell was this? "Monday Night RAW" where fans always boo Vince McMahon?

This is the best Tyrus will be. An inconsistent player who will put up good numbers for a couple of games and then frustrate you with turnovers and dumb fouls. Get rid of him NOW!!!

Krazy Ivan, I agree, and Tyrus' play of late is why the Bulls need to make this deal with the Suns for Stoudemire sooner rather than later. Thomas' trade value is increasing, which is something I can't say about Larry Hughes...Uncle Jerry, if you have to pay the luxury tax to get Amare here, go for it and green light this deal already!

Noah is finally giving full effort on the boards - even if that's the only thinig he does that would still be a huge plus for the team...particularly if they get Stoudemire. :alien:

I think I added 30. The halftime ceremony appeared to extend the time the game ended.

It was an extended halftime last night, because the game didn't end until after 10p last night, and "SportsNite" didn't air on Comcast SportsNet until around an hour later on Comcast SportsNet...It was quite a sight seeing Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen back at United Center last night. It was also interesting to hear former Bulls' PBP & current voice of the NBA on ESPN Radio, Jim Durham, sharing mike time last night with Neil Funk & Stacey King during the 3rd quarter sharing some stories of his former partner.

I gotta disagree with you here Nas. To quote Jigs - Never confuse activity with accomplishment. I've witnessed Noah running around a lot, but in a very confused manner. He also has too many games where he seems disinterested and winds up with too few rebounds for someone his size...that's just desire.
