If you are counting on Tyler Hansbrough to be a major contributor to your team you aren't a very good team. He's as expendable as Nocioni was.

Hansbrough made a living from getting to the free throw line all the time in college. He's not going to be shooting 10+ free throws a game.

He's a better Mark Madsen. I can't wait to see what Tyrus Thomas does to him.

Overall this draft will challenge 2000 for the title of worst in league history.


I would've been happier if the bulls spent both their picks on a couple of those 19 year old Euros and then stashed them overseas for a few years in the hopes that at least one would pan out.

Im really pissed off about the draft last night. Dejuan has knee concerns, but given the shittyness of the players left, you take a gamble, especially at 26. Gar fucked that draft up last night. One of those picks NEEDS to be Blair. Next to Millsap the best offensive rebounder coming out in the past 10-15 years. Of course the best GM of the past decade picks him up as the steal of the draft at 37.

I agree. I wouldn't have taken him at 16, but why not gamble at 26? Doesn't make sense to me.

If we hadn't taken Johnson at 16, I would have liked Blair at 26, but taking 2 PFs was really pointless - and I don't think Gibson has an NBA future. I was hoping Henderson would fall to us, but when he didn't, I was fine with Johnson.

At 26, I would have preferred Ellington as a poor man's Gordon, and if not, taking a flyer on a Euro prospect that we could keep off the payroll and hope for the best. It was a weak crop and 26 was slim pickins, but doubling up on the same position wasn't the answer.
