We are seeing the Loul Deng from the 06-07 season with a little more weight. I like it.

yep i said he would be the x factor before the season and if he can keep playing this well, especially defensively, the bulls can be pretty good. I also think this is the smartest he's ever been playing

Deng's smartness of play has been counteracted by the dumbness of the play of Salmons

I thought Salmons played better last night, but he has to take better care of the ball. I am doing my best not to give Taj Gibson the Micah Hoffpauir treatment, but I love this kid. He has the it factor, he's a ball bloodhound and seems to always be in the right position.

the Cav's would be better with trained seals making out the starting five and doing the substitution patterns. I'm all for a win you don't deserve, but Z and Shaq on the floor at the same time? Anthony Parker over Booby Gibson? The only reason Mike has a job is apparently LeBron likes him.

I can understand why he put Shaq and Z on the floor at the same time due to the potential mismatch, but it really backfired and I have to credit VDN for countering the move.

No one even touched him - he just lost control.

i have no problem with parker over gibson. He's a solid 2 and you cant play gibson and mo at the same time. However they have been getting destroyed with shaq and z on at the same time.

This isn't the 80's/90's NBA with Sampson and Olijawon. I don't think you can put two semi-immobile guys on an NBA floor these days and gain any advantage that isn't negated by teams running them up and down the floor.

Exactly. If hakeem wasn't a HOF I would tend to say he was actually under rated. I still feel like he didn't get enough credit for just how good he was.

LeBron will be a Bull or Piston next season--possibly sooner.

I thought it was interesting in the interview I saw in the 10 minutes of the Cavs/Knicks game (or as I like to call it, ESPN's 3 hour infomercial on why LeBron should sign with the Knicks) Lebron mentioned that winning is most important in terms of where he may go...I'll be interested to see if that is truly the case because if it is, you could argue that the Bulls may have a shot b/c of the teams nucleus. Oh and I know I sound like a homer.
