This is stupid.

Even if it is a true report, why let this news get out? If the players haven't quit on Vinny yet, they certainly will now. Nice job, GarPax.

Why wait until mid-January? Uncle Jerry needs to admit his mistake and cut his losses RIGHT NOW!!!  As for "GarPax" as the SCORE's Dan Bernstein refers to Executive V.P. John Paxson & General Manager (yeah, right!) Gar Forman, GET IT DONE!!! :x :x

If I had to read between the tea leaves, I'd say they were in preliminary negotiations with a new, permanent coach, and need a few weeks in private to not fuck these negotiations up like they did with Doug Collins and Mike D'Antoni.

There was a rumor about the Bulls in talks with Lawrence Frank, but I think it was just that...It seems hard to believe, but before the New Jersey Nets lost their first 18 regular season games, Frank was the Eastern Conference's longest-tenured head coach. The Nets fired Frank after they lost their first 18 games...

Other than the Hawks, all of my teams are fucking management nightmares. I'm sick and tired of this shit.

I would rather have Byron Scott, but either Scott or Frank would be WORLDS better than Vinny. And Frank seems like a Paxson kinda guy, plus he is an IU grad, so that is a plus. 8)

What in the world does an IU grad (coach or student) know about coaching professional basketball?

Hell, the best IU pro player was Bird. Two years of Zeke and nothing else but an IU handful of itself in the pro ranks IMO.

i'm not gonna use nasty 5 letter words like spmack and kid, but the number you're looking for here is 16 shark. Frank is not a better coach than skiles and not a good one either. Scott would be fine for a few years i guess

But he won his first 13 games as a coach. . . that makes him great, right? 8)

nope. He's never come close to maximizing his talent. Without kidd his flaws were exposed heavily. And btw, he'd have to win his first 30 games to equal mcdaniels 6-0 start

Ike, the New Jersey Nets have always given the Bulls trouble, and it goes all the way back to when "His Airness" was lacing up the Air Jordans...Honest. As for Scott Skiles, I don't think the Milwaukee Bucks are that much improved since he became their head coach in the year and about 2 months he's been their head coach.
