So does he fit in as the starting SG with Korver coming off the bench?

I would think it will probably be the other way around. Also maybe there is another guard they are looking to bring/trade for....Hopefully not T-Mac

The 3rd year isnt guaranteed I don't think this is an unreasonable contract.

I won't believe it until Jason Goff tells me the signing is imminent.

Yeah, I was happy to see that, and I don't disagree with you, given the amount of money being thrown at players that are unproven or underperforming...

That's not a lot of money for a rotation wing player. I would have liked a Raja Bell but he signed with Utah.

Good Dolphin should be happy. If IIRC he wanted the Bulls to draft him.

Yeah, but that was before Brewer was revealed as the mediocrity that he is.

By the way, is this what you meant by the Bulls being able to compete with Miami based on their vaunted depth????

Put a Ronnie Brewer on the floor with Omer Asik and you can't go wrong I guess...

 Not exactly. The Bulls are better at 2 out of the 3 starting positions and have a better bench. If the Bulls big 3 take a step forward in their development they will be tough to beat. I understand expecting Deng to stay in one piece is similar to asking Bynum to stay in one piece. I remain hopeful.

Relying on Deng - good luck with that.

Whats up with this barnes cat? He backed off his decision deadline yesterday due to new interest from other teams.

I really like this team and the depth they have going into next season and they still have roughly $8M to spend.

Neither of them is/was anywhere near as athletic as Brewer is.

I'm touched that you remember. Brewer was, and still is, my guy. He is tall, athletic and plays defense. He's not everything the Bulls need, but I think he will be excellent with the defensive minded Thibodeau.
