Let me help you out, so it's not just our opinions. This is the tool I used to beat you in the Kyrie MVP bet last year:

https://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/mvp.html

Joker is 3rd, Embiid is 9th.

I believe that's what we call the end of the discussion for the moment.

Kyrie another guy that you claimed to have won merely because he was injured.

I already completely obliterated you on Minnesota/Philly

You have been wrong about Embiid since day 1

You have been wrong on Ball. You liked him and he is a bum

You have been wrong about Fox

You have been wrong about Philly from day 1

You Were completely wrong about OKC/G.S. a few years ago

Kyrie Curry Matchup

Mitchell being "awesome". He is a one dimensional player and not even the "MVP" of his own team.

Wrong on Paul George/Butler. You care to have that discussion again? I doubt it.

WRong on Freak/Butler

For all of your "ridiculous" talk it is obvious that the guy that comes out on the wrong end the vast majority of the time is you.

As stated its old hat at this point. You will probably get a few law of average wins but that is about it. Even the generals were allowed to win a few here and there along the way.

Wrong on Markannen and tried to move the goalposts by claiming that you'd never seen him play.

Wrong on Okafor/Noel

Add this one to the list also.

People already think they will be a top 6 team in the NBA this year. I think that's asinine, but I don't think there's much room to be better than people think unless you think they are the 2nd best team in the West and a top 3 team in the NBA.

Yeah I remember that. The last 3 years Butler has been better than George (since George came back from injury). George is having a career year and is playing better than Butler this year, but I don't regret saying Butler was better than George last year. He was. Butler earned 81 All NBA team votes last year and Paul George earned 54. They were both 3rd team All NBA but it's pretty clear that saying Butler was better than George last year was not a "wrong" opinion.

He had a better year. Even with him having a better year i still always knew that George was and is the better player.

You also stated that George was overrated. Obviously he isn't if he is in the MVP discussion.

OKC/GS Western Final. That team is coming together in a big way.

Yeah Westbrook deferring to Paul George is something that in a million never thought I'd see. It has made them a better team.

They matchup pretty well with GS too.

I am finally intrigued with a Western match up. It's been awhile. Hope it happens.

Yep. Still claims victory even though most think the kid is a bum. These guys make fun of guys like Josh Smith though. Lonzo Ball (or his father) would kill someone to have the career that Josh Smith had.

There's nothing to say while the kid is injured. He's been a bad offensive player so far and if he can't stay healthy he's going to stay that way.

You guys were both wrong about his defense though. He's a legitimately very good defensive player.

He has been better than I thought Defensively. Not elite but better. He has stunk as player overall and he has played enough games where you can get a gauge on what he will be as a player. Lakers surely have and I'm certain they are regretting that they cut bait with Russell now. He is the better player by far.

He can still get better. Russell was a bum in his 2nd year too before LA gave up on him. But he's not going to improve if he can't stay on the court.

Russell proved early on that he could score. This kid is awful in too many areas for him to be considered good. 7 assists for a "pass first" point guard isn't that good. Down this year I think. Pass first points get you 9-10 assists per game historically. He can't even hit his free throws. Russell was also injured. He always was the better player. Magic bought into the hype and he is paying for it now.

If they were to redraft that particular class he probably would be out of the top 15.

Not in a year he won't. Fultz hasn't played and when he did he played for a contending team. Ball had the Ball in his hands on day 1 so you sort of saw what he was as a player early on. That his ceiling has been recalculated after only one year speaks volumes. He is no longer considered a "stud" by anyone. He is at best a role player off the bench on a good team. If you go down the list of teams in the NBA you'd be hard pressed to find 5 that he could start for currently. Its why his father pushed so hard for the trade to Phoenix

as well as FF's contention that Simmons is the best player on the Sixers. It's clearly Embid.

Nope it’s Simmons. This team would have the same record if Simmons missed 8 games. But he’s a franchise guy so he doesn’t miss 90% of the teams games.

Has anyone noticed that whenever LTG gets beat up on one point he immediately double posts to bring it an unrelated second topic he believes he is winning as a deflection? Just look for his back to back posts... dead giveaway.

Which posts were that?

I have noticed how you rarely get anything correct on here. You are wrong about almost everything. You are so bad you have to claim victory for things that are obviously false just to stay in the race. Now that's bad.

The He's bad because he is injured argument is the same sort of fallacy that got guys like you in trouble about Embiid in the first place. Anyone that says for sure that they know who Fultz will be as a player is lying. Ball is a different story. Ball has played in more than a year's worth of games already.

When was the last time that Jimmy Butler played over 70 games in a season? You had him top 10 anyway. Embiid hasn't missed that many games this year. He is after all in the MVP discussion this year. He is a player. Everyone (besides you) knows it.

Continue to move those goalposts though. Now the new spin is that he isn't good because he was always injured. Even when he played you had Simmons better.

That’s not the new spin. That’s been the narrative since he came in the league. He needs to stay healthy for more than a year to disprove it.

Got to love good Ol IMU new spin on Portis bashed the hell out of him for 3 years then majestically started liking him around the time I started pushing Jabari Parker.

It was done just so he start trolling. And this is what is supposed to pass for candor and honesty on here. It's a damn joke.

Portis is having the best year of his career this year. I always knew IMU would eventually see the light on him.

Whatever he is he isn't as good as Parker. Portis is a backup just like Paxson said.

Parker has been the ultimate locker room cancer this year. It's irrelevant how much natural talent he has if he's going to act like that big of a fucking diva in a locker room. Good riddance. Portis should've broke his jaw too

Portis would never have been able to step foot in Chicago again had he done that.

He hasn't been a Cancer. He probably is a little indifferent and your "good riddance" proclamation means nothing given how much you miss on players.

Kid can play. Anyone who knows basketball knows it. He will go somewhere else and flourish and you will still be clinging to silly comments like this.

You couldn't find two people that come to either of the basketball sections to read anything that you post.

Words that I have yet to hear uttered by anyone (except good friend FF) "Imu thinks". You're an afterthought and you are still trying to play one up games well after the die has been cast.

Move on, do better and maybe people will start paying attention to what you post.

Par for the course it would be a rather stupid thought that happened to be cited. Proves the point.
